Being overrated wasn't Bali's problem. Massive tourist related overdevelopment wrecked the island's physical beauty and unique ambience. Bali was ninety percent rural and lovely until the nineties. The Indonesian govt got greedy for tourist dollars and turned the sanur Kuta seminyak beach area into a major city. Multi million dollar resorts, resorts resorts and more resort development. Motorways all over the place. And mobs from everywhere arrived. Bali was never a city until a generation ago. Indonesians like most Asian cultures don't do cities very well. Their cities are mostly aesthetically unappealing and heavily polluted. The lesson to be learned from Bali is tourism and tourist infrastructure development like everything else should be carried out in moderation. I once liked Bali before it began receiving five million visitors annually. Before the billion dollar megaresorts got plastered all over it by an out of control tourist development bureaucracy. . When it was still Bali, while it was still rural and still beautiful. Parts of Bali may still be attractive and natural. But they are the exception that proves the rule.

It's almost like most cheap, Chinese-made electronic testing devices like that might just have a margin of error, and given your scale extends from 0 to "over 2000", the difference between 48 and 51 on that scale would be 0.3125% ... something tells me that the margin of error on that plastic handheld Chinese-made mass-produced trinket is well above that... probably even well above 1% Maybe try taking the average of 3 or 5 consecutive tests of the same water sample. I'll bet you don't get the same reading twice in a row.

However, in my view, Wake offers a broader range of amenities parking, restaurant, office space and the common area and pool is upstairs looking over the city and its location is favorable, except for the daunting hill climb that tends to leave you questioning your lodging choice lol.
